WASHINGTON, CMC – The Group of American States (OAS) says the Everlasting Consultant of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Ronald Sanders, has assumed the chair of the Everlasting Council till December 31, 2023.
At a ceremony held at OAS Headquarters in Washington, Ambassador Sanders highlighted how the periodic chair change symbolizes the teamwork amongst member states to realize frequent targets.
“Each one that chairs the Everlasting Council brings particular, totally different qualities to that activity. However the goal is similar: to attempt to make the work as clean as potential, as non-contentious as potential, and to construct as a lot consensus as potential,” he mentioned.
