    USVI kicks-off New York Jets partnership with Caribbean Carnival-themed tailgate activation – Caribbean Life

    US Virgin Islands Kicks-Off New York Jets Partnership with Carnival Themed Tailgate Activation.

    The US Virgin Islands (USVI) Division of Tourism formally kicked off the multi-year partnership with the New York Jets with a Caribbean Carnival-themed tailgate get together on the Monday Evening Soccer recreation on Sept. 11.

    “Because the official Caribbean vacation spot companion of the New York Jets, we knew we wished to publicly launch the partnership with a singular expertise for the followers,” stated US Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism Joseph Boschulte. “What higher technique to rejoice than with a Carnival themed occasion, showcasing our distinctive and vibrant tradition whereas connecting with a few of the most wonderful followers within the nation.” 

    The occasion, which occurred on the Jets Tailgate Zone, featured a personalized activation buildout showcasing the three principal islands of the USVI, the place members of the tourism group, cultural dancers, and Moko Jumbies handed our particular recreation day swag. D.J. duo, the Virgin Islands Dream Crew, performed a mixture of soca, calypso, and reggae music, bringing Caribbean taste to followers for hours.  

    The Jets Tailgate Zone was dwelling to the LIVE taping of Jets Pregame Central introduced by US Virgin Islands. 

    The Crew’s official pregame present featured Jets Crew Reporter Eric Allen, and Jets legends Anthony Becht, and Quincy Enunwa. 

    The USVI Dept. of Tourism stated the trio was joined on stage by particular visitors Hip- Hop Legend, Technique Man, and former Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde. 

    “We couldn’t be happier with how the partnership expertise went between the U.S. Virgin Islands and Jets throughout our dwelling opener,” stated Jeff Fernandez, Vice President of Enterprise Improvement and Ventures. “We had been capable of incorporate a carnival expertise at MetLife Stadium and Jets Tailgate Zone that enhanced the general recreation day expertise for Jets followers.     The USVI group returns to the Tailgate zone on Oct. 1 with a brand new themed tailgate that includes giveaways and extra.
