WINDSOR, Canada – Dr. Camisha Sibblis, a Canadian with Jamaican heritage, has been appointed director of the Black Research Institute (BSI) on the College of Windsor in Ontario.

Sibblis, who was born in Toronto, is the daughter of reggae legend Leroy Sibbles, finest referred to as lead singer/bass guitarist of The Heptones. She earned levels in philosophy and social work from the College of Toronto and York College, respectively.
Her Masters in social work program can also be from York College. Sibblis earned her doctorate in training and social work, additionally from York College.
She believes her put up as head of the BSI transcends teachers.
