CHARLOTTE AMALIE, United States Virgin Islands, CMC – The Governor of the US Virgin Islands, Albert Bryan Jr, on Wednesday expressed gratitude as he issued a welcome assertion for US President Joe Biden and First Woman Dr Jill Biden to the island of St Croix.
The Governor says their go to marks a major and proud second for the residents of St Croix and all the US Virgin Islands neighborhood.
“The President’s selection of our island as his retreat for some well-deserved downtime speaks volumes concerning the distinctive attraction and heat that St Croix gives. We’re all the time grateful for President Biden’s assist and dedication to our islands, and it’s an honor to host him and the First Woman.
Their presence right here reinforces the robust bond between our US Virgin Islands and the remainder of america, and we’re delighted to share the most effective of our tradition, hospitality, and pure magnificence with them,” the Governor stated.
St Croix has been a tropical getaway for Biden to go to for trip since he was vice chairman from 2009 to 2017.
In 2022, Biden spent the vacations on the Caribbean island for the primary time as President.
