The Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard has confirmed the involvement of no less than two vessels within the oil spill disaster at the moment affecting Tobago, the sister island of Trinidad.
Following examination of video footage and different data, the Ministry of Nationwide Safety has disclosed that the vessels implicated within the incident are a tugboat and a barge.
Oil supply traced
Based on studies, the oil appeared to come back from the wrecked barge, which was found lodged on a reef.
Coast Guard joins forces with native and regional companies
In response to the disaster, the Coast Guard has mobilized efforts together with native and regional companies to establish the house owners of the vessels.
Vessels certain for Guyana fail to reach
Whereas tracing the vessels’ origins and supposed locations, it was established that they had been en path to Guyana.
