Toronto author named Canada’s prime youth literary mentor

Toronto-based creator, mentor, and group chief Kamelah Blair has been acknowledged as Canada’s most prolific youth literary mentor and group writer, a title earned by her unwavering dedication to empowering marginalized youth by writing.
Blair has authored 27 books, based 4 youth-focused writing packages, and mentored younger writers in publishing 145 books for gratis throughout the Higher Toronto Space. Her work has opened doorways for numerous younger individuals to share their tales, confront trauma, and reclaim their voices by the written phrase.
Her flagship initiative, It’s The Write Time Youth Writing Program, has turn into a nationwide instance of how artistic writing can help emotional therapeutic, self-confidence, and private progress.
