Castries, Saint Lucia: The Desk Tennis group of Saint Lucia lifted the trophy of the OECS Desk Tennis Championship 2023 on December 17, 2023. The event was held at Bloodbath Enjoying Discipline, Dominica.
The group of St Vincent and the Grenadines positioned within the second place within the event, whereas the group Dominica secured the third place. The Desk Tennis groups of 5 international locations participated within the championship which began on December 15, 2023.
The opposite two groups for the event have been from Grenada and Antigua and Barbuda. The championship was held in two categories- Males and Ladies. Saint Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica secured first, second and third positions respectively, in each classes.
Dominica Olympic Committee introduced the results of the championship and hosted the medal ceremony to honour the winners. The committee added that the event was an important expertise from Dominica.
It talked about that St Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica secured second and third place respectively and Saint Lucia grabbed the highest spot. The medallists has been unveiled by the committee.

Ladies Double
The primary place was secured by the group of Saint Lucia, which consisted of Anthony Zarianne and Charles Shatal. On the similar time, the duo from St Vincent and the Grenadines named Newland Rosemarie and John Amba performed exceptionally within the event and secured the second place within the class.
Additional, the group of Dominica consisting of Cumberbatch Leah and McCarthur Jessica secured the third place within the Ladies Double class.
Ladies Single
Within the ladies single, Saint Lucia gained prime place as participant Charles Shatal secured back-to-back victories in her matches and received the gold medal within the class.
The second place was secured by Delpeshe Shanecia for St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Anthony Zarianne of Dominica received the bronze medal within the class.

Males Double
The duo of Saint Lucia named Calderon De Andre and Nurse Dawitt received the gold medal in males’s doubles. St Vincent and the Grenadines completed the sport within the second place because the group of Albert Adrian and Nurse Dawitt received silver medals.
The third place was secured by Dominica with the group of Lubin Joshua and Eluthere Manie.
Males Single
In males single, Saint Lucia secured the primary place as Calderon De Andre received a gold medal. Whereas, Dominica stood second within the class as Eluthere Manie received a silver medal.
Nurse Dawitt from St Vincent and the Grenadines secured third place.
Combine Doubles
The primary place was secured by Calderon De Andre and Charles Shatal of Saint Lucia. The second place was captured by Lubin Joshua and Anthony Zarianne of Dominica. Whereas the third place was secured by the group of St Vincent and the Grenadines with the group of Stanley Sean and Delpeshe Shanecia.
Notably, the championship has returned after ten years because it had final been hosted by Saint Lucia in 2013.
