    Assistant Chief Ruel Stephenson is without doubt one of the highest-ranked Jamaicans within the New York Police Division (NYPD), overseeing Patrol Borough Manhattan North. He spent his early years navigating the ranks from a uniformed police officer by the rigorous civil service exams for sergeant, lieutenant, and captain. As a younger boy in Clarendon, I used to watch every thing intently. That sense of instinct and a spotlight to element has made me a sound chief within the police division,” he defined.
