The newly elected Authorities of Montserrat was sworn-in on the Montserrat Cultural Centre on Friday.
The temporary ceremony was held at 5 p.m. with Premier and Ministers of Authorities making solemn affirmations.
Ministerial portfolios had been assigned as follows:
- Premier and Minister of Finance, Native Authorities Immigration, Regional Affairs, Tradition, Tourism, Financial Administration, Commerce, Data Communication and Digital Transformation— Reuben T. Meade.
- Deputy Premier and Minister of Infrastructure, Labour, Transportation, Vitality and Ecclesiastical Affairs – Veronica Dorsett-Hector.
- Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Housing, Surroundings and Sports activities – John P. Osborne.
- Minister of Training, Well being, Social Companies and Youth Affairs – Dr. Ingrid Buffonge
The Chief of the Opposition, Paul Lewis was additionally sworn in.
