The Caribbean Neighborhood (CARICOM) is deeply saddened on the passing of Ambassador Lorne McDonnough, CD, on Thursday.
Ambassador McDonnough had a profession of distinguished service to the Caribbean Neighborhood. He served as the primary Chief Govt Officer of the CARICOM Growth Fund (CDF), the place he managed, inter alia, the Nation Help Programmes offering monetary and technical help to deprived nations, areas and sectors within the Neighborhood.
His service as a profession diplomat on behalf of his nation, Jamaica, included impactful illustration on the hemispheric and worldwide ranges.
