President Emeritus Lourdeth A. Ferguson advised Caribbean Life that whereas historically held in Guyana, this 12 months’s celebration marked the Basis’s first in New York, additional affirming its dedication to bridging cultures and increasing its influence between Guyana and the USA.
Honoring excellence, this 12 months’s distinguished scholarship recipient, Alliyah Culley, embodies the very spirit of perseverance and brilliance. An inspiring 23-year-old with a outstanding educational pedigree, Culley graduated from The Bishops’ Excessive Faculty in Guyana, incomes her Affiliate Diploma in Legislation with a stellar 3.6 GPA.
