The Trinidad-based Seismic Analysis Centre (SRC) on the College of the West Indies’ St. Augustine campus mentioned the quake occurred at 5:16 a.m. native time at a depth of 24 kilometers.
The tremor was felt in Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, and neighboring Nevis. Residents in Antigua reported panic, with many taking to social media to explain the quake’s results.
