Julian Marley & Antaeus’ ‘Colours Of Royal’ album has gained the Greatest Reggae Album award on the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The award present is being held in the present day, February 4, in Los Angeles.
The opposite albums nominated for the award had been: No Destroyer by Burning Spear; Buju Banton’s Born For Greatness; Beenie Man’s Simma; and Cali Roots Riddim 2023 by Collie Buddz.
Albums eligible for Grammy nominations needed to be launched between October 1, 2022, and September 15, 2023.
Marley’s album was launched in March 2023. That is the primary Grammy award for the son of reggae legend, Bob Marley. He was nominated for the very best reggae album twice earlier than for albums Awake (2009) and As I Am (2019).
