    JTB lands ‘important partnership’ with major Jamaican entertainment promoter in NY – Caribbean Life

    Sephron Mair, the Jamaican-born co-producer of the Elite Weekend, a New York-based leisure occasions promotion firm, says that his group has simply “landed an essential partnership” with the Jamaica Vacationer Board (JTB).

    “I’m ecstatic that we have been in a position to land an essential partnership with the Jamaica Vacationer Board, the group charged with advertising and marketing and selling Jamaica globally,” Mair instructed Caribbean Life on Monday. “They’ve provided money and advertising and marketing help for the Elite Weekend. We couldn’t ask for something larger.”

    The Elite Weekend is slated for Devon Home in Kingston, Jamaica on March 16 and 17.

    Mair mentioned he was delight that the Elite Weekend can be getting a serious increase from the Bob Marley biopic One Love that hit theatres within the US on Feb. 14.

    “With all of the media consideration surrounding the Marley biopic, model Jamaica is a serious beneficiary,” he mentioned. “The Elite Weekend occasions, Bleu & Bougie and Soirée en Blanc, are an enormous beneficiary as properly, provided that each occasions have an unmistakable Jamaican aptitude.

    “We’ve seen a serious bump in our ticket gross sales,” Mair added. “Jamaica is the beat that strikes the world proper now.”

    Fiona Fennell, JTB’s public relations and communications supervisor, mentioned she was additionally pleased with the partnership with the Elite Weekend.

    He mentioned music will probably be offered by Captain Colin Hines, Bishop Escobar, Richie Ras, Wealthy Rocc and MV Stone from Jamaica. Representing New York are Dj Roy, of Street Worldwide, and Icopsycho.
