Jamaican Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell is remembering his slain toddler daughter Sarayah on what would have been her first birthday on November 2.
The veteran politician shares a sequence on footage of his daughter via social media, with the caption: “At the moment would have been Sarayah’s birthday. Glad Birthday princess Sarayah, sleep with the Angels.”
The 5 photographs prompted a whole bunch of feedback from followers, expressing sympathy and condolences.
“Sleep in peace little princess. You didn’t deserve this however the Lord thy God just isn’t asleep and he’ll award each single individual in accordance with their deeds,” one consumer commented.
“Glad Birthday in heaven candy Sarayah. She is sleeping with the angels Phillip and should the angels additionally watch over you and produce you peace,” one other posted.
At simply 10 months previous, Sarayah and her mom, Toshyna Patterson, had been kidnapped and brutally murdered in September in a murder-for-hire plot.
US Navy petty officer Leoda Bradshaw, who shares a toddler with Phillip Paulwell, is alleged to be the mastermind behind the crime. A sum of JMD $500,000 was allegedly paid for the homicide of Patterson and child Paulwell. The our bodies of the mom and daughter had been reportedly discovered on October 6, at an undisclosed location in Rockfort, East Kingston.
Bradshaw, by way of her cousin and co-accused Roland Balfour, had allegedly contracted two males to kidnap and homicide Patterson and Sarayah. Balfour was charged with conspiracy to homicide, conspiracy to kidnapping and misprison of felony.
The boys employed: Rushane Miller, a 29-year-old air-con technician, and Richard Brown, a 31-year-old Graphic Designer, had been arrested and slapped with costs associated to kidnapping and homicide. They each have pleaded responsible and can return to courtroom on November 15 for sentencing.
In the meantime Bradshaw was charged on October 13 with two counts of conspiracy to kidnap, two counts of conspiracy to homicide, two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of capital homicide. She has been remanded till an extra listening to scheduled for December 1.
