Spearheaded by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nationwide Safety, Hon. Dr. Horace Chang, the initiatives embrace the event of six STEM Colleges and one STEAM (Science, Expertise, Engineering, Arts, and Arithmetic) Academy.

Dr. Chang confirmed that preparations for the STEAM Academy in Montego Bay are nicely underway.
With land secured and funding allotted by the Ministry of Finance, building is poised to begin pending closing scheduling from the Ministry of Training and Youth by year-end.

Highlighting the upcoming launch of the primary STEM College in Portmore, St. Catherine, Dr. Chang emphasised the federal government’s dedication to increasing academic alternatives within the STEM disciplines.

UTech’s Western Campus hosts inaugural STEM Summer time Camp
The College of Expertise (UTech) Western Campus lately inaugurated its first STEM Summer time camp in Montego Bay, St. James.
This initiative, geared toward nurturing STEM curiosity amongst youth, drew members from Hanover, Trelawny, and St. James for a sequence of participating actions.
