KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The Electoral Workplace of Jamaica (EOJ) is making ready for the upcoming September 30 by-election within the constituency of North East St. Ann.
This follows the nomination of three who had been nominated on Wednesday.
They’re David Anderson, an unbiased candidate, Matthew Samuda of the ruling Jamaica Labour Social gathering (JLP), and Chase Neil of the United Independents’ Congress.
In response to Director of Elections Glasspole Brown, the work to happen over the approaching days will embody coaching employees and making ready ballots.
The North East St Ann constituency grew to become vacant following the resignation of Marsha Smith final week. The principle opposition, the Folks’s Nationwide Social gathering (PNP), won’t contest the by-election.
There are 40,346 Electors on the Voters Record for North Jap St Ann.
