KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, is scheduled to ship a presentation on the music and legacy of Reggae icon Robert Nesta Marley on the Jamaica Music Museum (JaMM) heritage sequence, Grounation, on Sunday.
In its thirteenth staging, the sequence might be held every Sunday in February below the theme, ‘Bob Marley at Eighty: His Music, Legend and Legacy.” There will even be an exhibition, ‘From African to Jamaican: Music and Black Tradition,’ which explores the Afro-Jamaican artistic ethos that has garnered world acclaim.
Mottley’s presentation, ‘A lot bother on this planet: What we want is love,’ might be introduced by means of a pre-recorded video on the occasion.
In accordance with the Director/Curator at JaMM, Herbie Miller, discussions will held following the presentation.
In accordance with Miller, the Prime Minister was chosen for the presentation as a result of she used Bob Marley’s lyrics to amplify her message on world points.
He stated she regularly attracts on Marley’s songs, corresponding to ‘Get Up, Stand Up’ and ‘So Many Issues to Say’ when addressing world issues.
Mottley will even deal with points corresponding to world warming and the environmental challenges dealing with humanity in the present day.
