KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The principle opposition Individuals’s Nationwide Celebration (PNP)Wednesday paid tribute to its councilor candidate for the Friendship Division, Western Westmoreland, the westernmost parish in Jamaica on the south facet of the island, who died at a hospital after collapsing at an occasion earlier.
Maxine Salabie was delivering a speech at an occasion held on the Lodge Commingle in Savanna-La-Mar when she requested to be excused on account of not feeling properly. Shortly after leaving, she reportedly collapsed and was swiftly transported to the hospital, the place she later died.
The PNP is “deeply saddened and shocked to announce the passing of Comrade Maxine Salabie, our councilor candidate for the Friendship Division, Western Westmoreland.”
Salabie’s dying comes simply months after she assumed the place, changing Tyrone Guthrie, the earlier PNP councilor caretaker who’s going through costs associated to the forcible abduction and rape of a 16-year-old.
