A Justice of the Peace courtroom Tuesday freed a United States-based medical practitioner, Dr Samuel Joseph Christian, of incitement to burn down the Parliament of Dominica after the prosecution stated that it was now not persevering with with the matter.

Christian was arrested and charged in 2017 following the incident that passed off on November 26, 2015.
In line with the criticism, Christian “unlawfully incited to burn down the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica” at a public assembly held at Peebles Park in 2015.
The prosecution had alleged that Christian had advised the assembly “you need to stand robust and stand with dignity for the Dominican individuals. We should stand with dignity.
“Don’t take any type of crap from the Speaker of the Home. We all know that this Parliament was burnt down earlier than and if the Parliament continues to function this manner women and gents will probably be burnt down once more by the individuals of Dominica. We’ve got to face robust.
