PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti, CMC – The federal government of Canada has began sending navy surveillance drones to help Haitian safety forces, as a part of a brand new initiative to fight violence and the unfold of armed gangs throughout the French-speaking Caribbean Group (CARICOM) member states.
The drones, whose actual quantity was not disclosed for safety causes, started arriving right here in June and can proceed to be delivered within the coming weeks.
These are unarmed, high-tech plane designed for intelligence and reconnaissance duties, aimed toward strengthening the capabilities of the Haitian Nationwide Police (PNH).
