    President of Guyana, Dr. Irfaan Ali, First Woman Ayra Ali, and sons, Sayd and Llan welcomed the Guyanese to the joyous celebration of Christmas Eve with music, track, and dance.     On Christmas Eve night time, the President of Guyana, Dr. Irfaan Ali, on behalf of the primary household, prolonged vacation greetings to the nation, stating that love can foster unity and nurture compassion.

    The video message performed after a State Home Christmas Live performance towards a stunning lightscape show on Essential Road in Georgetown spoke of defeating the division.

    “On the coronary heart of Christmas is a love so profound that it transcends time and area,” stated the Commander-in-Chief, who spoke of Christmas because the story of the love of God that was incarnated to carry mild and hope to the world.

    From crowd pleasers like Charmaine Blackman, whose melodious voice stuffed the air with Silent Evening, to AW Lyrical’s Christmas medley, three-time Calypso Monarch “Younger Invoice Rogers’, singing a spirited model of Santa’s In search of a Spouse, to Calvin Burnett’s Gee Whiz It’s Christmas, the night time was joyous and thrilling and loved by celebrants, particularly President Ali, who was full of life because the music performed and artistes revved up the gang.

    Host of The Grasp Out on 94.1, Feliz Robertson, and co-host Merrano Isaacs have been wonderful throughout the hours-long festive occasion, bringing to the stage Jesse Shultz, Sonia Singh & Arijit Singh, the Berbice Delights Dancers, Rock/folks artist Gavin Mendonca & Chucky, Edon Singh, the Nationwide Dance Firm with Soca Monarch Diana Chapman, and plenty of others, for an exciting, entertaining celebration as a part of the Christmas season. The festivities included the primary One Guyana Grocery store and Annual Christmas Village that stretched alongside Essential Road within the capital metropolis.
