    Flatbush Gardens hosts Jingle Bell Rockout holiday celebration – Caribbean Life

    The Flatbush Gardens Tenant Affiliation, Flatbush Gardens Administration and New York Metropolis Council Member Farah N. Louis on Dec. 21 co-hosted the annual Jingle Bell Rockout vacation celebration on the Flatbush Gardens Neighborhood Middle, 1404 Brooklyn Ave., Brooklyn.

    Neighborhood leaders — together with members of the Flatbush Gardens Tenant Affiliation and Council Member Louis — attended the occasion that included free items for kids, vacation actions, meals and music.

    “I’m proud to have led the primary Jingle Bell Rockout for the complete Flatbush Gardens group for the vacations, and to unfold vacation cheer and items to our entire group this month,” Louis, the daughter of Haitian and Bahamian immigrants, advised Caribbean Life on Thursday.

    “With a whole bunch of toys distributed to our neighbors and households, I’m honored to have led this wonderful initiative, together with the Flatbush Gardens Tenant Affiliation, Elite Learners, and Clipper Fairness on this joyous expertise,” added the consultant for the 45th Council District in Brooklyn.

    Marietta Smalls, co-president of Flatbush Gardens Tenant Affiliation, mentioned the tenants had been “extraordinarily blissful at Jingle Bell Rockout.

    “It was one thing that had not been achieved earlier than, and it meant loads that administration was there mingling with children, giving them toys and having an excellent time,” she mentioned. “We’re wanting ahead to doing it once more subsequent yr.”

    JJ Bistricter, associate and chief working officer of Clipper Realty, the proprietor of Flatbush Gardens, mentioned Jingle Bell Rockout was “precisely what the vacation season is about – household, group and festive enjoyable.

    “Doing our half to construct a cohesive and energetic setting at Flatbush Gardens is certainly one of Clipper’s prime priorities, and we’re blissful to have been part of this occasion that introduced our neighbors collectively in considerable vacation spirit,” Bistricter mentioned. “We thank Council Member Farah Louis, The Flatbush Gardens Tenant Affiliation and Flatbush Gardens Administration for participating in Jingle Bell Rockout.”
