Miami Broward Carnival Extends Sympathy And Assist to These Impacted by Hurricane Milton because the South Florida Neighborhood Prepares to Rejoice 40 Years of Caribbean Tradition
SOUTH FLORIDA – The Miami Broward Carnival Host Committee extends its heartfelt sympathies and prayers to all these affected by Hurricane Milton. Because the West Coast and Central Florida face the devastating aftermath impacts of this Class 3 storm, we reaffirm our dedication to serving to to help all rebuilding and restoration efforts. Miami Carnival has at all times been an emblem of resilience, pleasure, and togetherness; this 12 months is not any exception.
We stand in solidarity with the affected households and communities. As we put together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Miami Carnival this weekend, we achieve this with a deep sense of gratitude for the traditions and group bonds which have carried us. Our ideas are with all impacted communities as they start the journey towards restoration and therapeutic.
Tribute to Machel Montano

As a part of this 12 months’s milestone celebration, Miami Carnival, the Metropolis of Lauderhill and the Metropolis of Miami will honor the contributions of Soca legend Machel Montano on the Miami Broward Panorama on Friday, October 11, on the Central Broward Park in Lauderhill and the Miami Carnival Parade of Bands and Live performance on Sunday, October 13 on the Miami Dade County Honest & Expo, Inc.
Montano, a GRAMMY acknowledged, multi-award-winning artist, and producer, has introduced pleasure and delight to the Caribbean diaspora by means of his music for many years. Because the King of Soca, Montano has gained ten Street March titles, a prestigious honor in Trinidad and Tobago Carnival.
Donations to World Empowerment Mission (GEM)
Within the spirit of giving again and solidarity, Miami Broward Carnival and Montano name on the broader group in supporting the Caribbean Sturdy Aid Efforts in partnership with the World Empowerment Mission (GEM), which has already mobilized to supply help to these impacted by Hurricane Milton. As a part of our dedication to supporting the Caribbean group, Miami Carnival will probably be donating to those reduction efforts and inspiring all to contribute, whether or not by means of time, donations, or assets, to help the continuing reduction efforts.
