Eight excellent college students from Broward County Public Colleges (BCPS) have been named Nationwide Benefit Scholarship winners, incomes $2,500 awards in recognition of their distinctive educational efficiency and management.
The Nationwide Benefit Scholarship Company (NMSC) introduced the winners as a part of the 2025 Nationwide Benefit Scholarship Program, a prestigious nationwide competitors that honors prime highschool seniors based mostly on educational achievement, PSAT/NMSQT scores, neighborhood involvement, and management qualities.
Among the many honorees is Marjory Stoneman Douglas Excessive College senior Ella Maurice, who joins an elite group of scholars nationwide acknowledged for his or her potential for future success.

These college students have been chosen from a pool of greater than 15,000 finalists nationwide. The rigorous choice course of features a detailed utility, a private essay, and robust educational information.
The $2,500 scholarships are unrestricted and could also be used at any regionally accredited faculty or college in the USA. Winners of the college-sponsored Nationwide Benefit Scholarships can be introduced in June and July.
BCPS officers applauded the scholars for his or her onerous work and dedication, calling the awards a testomony to the district’s dedication to educational excellence.
