    Dehring assumes position of chief executive officer – Caribbean Life

    Chris Dehring started his tenure on Feb. 3, 2025 as Cricket West Indies’ (CWI) chief government officer and promised to chart a brand new course for the regional establishment.

    Dehring was greeted on the CWI headquarters at Coolidge Cricket Floor (CCG) by its president Dr. Kishore Shallow, vice-president Azim Bassarath, and Chief Working Officer, Lynford Inverary.

    Shallow stated, “The appointment of Chris Dehring as CEO isn’t just a change in management — it’s the begin of a brand new period for West Indies cricket. We recognise that the sport is evolving, and so should we.”

    “His imaginative and prescient, expertise, understanding of the area and deep-rooted ardour for cricket make him the proper individual to information us by this era of transformation, each on and off the sphere.

    “The highway forward requires daring choices, contemporary views, and an unshakable perception in what West Indies cricket could be, and I’m assured that Chris will assist steer us towards that future.”

    Dehring, moving into the function with a transparent sense of objective stated, “West Indies cricket has at all times been greater than only a sport —i t is an emblem of id, resilience, and excellence that has united generations throughout the area.
