PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD – Cricket West Indies (CWI) has appointed Lynford Inverary as its new Chief Working Officer (COO) and Appearing Chief Government Officer (CEO), following a choice by the Board of Administrators on September 28, 2024.
Inverary, who has over a decade of expertise with CWI, assumde the COO function on October 1, 2024, and can tackle the extra duties of Appearing CEO beginning November 1, 2024, after the departure of Johnny Grave.
Inverary, an Antiguan born in Guyana, has been instrumental in shaping CWI’s strategic course, together with main the formation of the organization’s 2024-27 Strategic Plan, titled “The Lengthy Run.” This plan focuses on governance enhancements, cricket improvement, operational effectivity, and long-term sustainability.
A graduate of the College of the West Indies, Inverary holds a First-Class Honors Bachelor of Science in Administration with a serious in Worldwide Enterprise, in addition to an MBA from the College of South Wales. He has led key initiatives inside CWI, together with contributing to the Wehby Report on Governance Reform and overseeing the enterprise planning course of for a number of high-impact tasks.
