The Antigua police have launched an investigation following the seizure of 42 kilos of cocaine on the VC Chook Worldwide Airport on Saturday.
The category-A drug is claimed to worth EC$666,900.
The seizure was made because the police and customs officers have been conducting a joint drug operation on the airport. It’s reported that throughout the operation they found a black suitcase with 16 vacuum-sealed packages of the managed substance inside.
The suitcase with the substance was taken to the police station for additional investigation.
Nobody has been arrested in reference to the discover.
