Caribbean highschool college students will be part of friends from over 190 international locations within the FIRST® World Problem 2024, also known as the Robotics Olympics, held in Athens, Greece—the birthplace of the Olympics.
The nine-member crew representing Jamaica arrived in Greece yesterday, able to kick off the competitors as we speak. The delegation contains 5 college students, two coaches, one extra pupil, and one extra coach. Colleges represented within the 2024 crew are the American Worldwide Faculty of Kingston (AISK), Campion School, Hillel Academy, Immaculate Conception Excessive Faculty, Kingston School (KC), and Wolmer’s Excessive Faculty for Boys.
The scholars on the crew are Alwyn Brown from KC, Ojani Chung from Campion, Emily Zhu from Hillel Academy, Abbigail Cato from Immaculate, Sean-Michael Williams from AISK, and assist pupil Jordon Williams from Wolmer’s.
