KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The International Campus of the College of the West Indies (The UWI) has congratulated Dr June Soomer on being appointed Chair Designate of the Everlasting Discussion board on Individuals of African Descent (PFPAD).
The Everlasting Discussion board on Individuals of African Descent’s mandate consists of contributing to the political, financial, and social inclusion of individuals of African descent via its modalities, codecs, and substantive and procedural points.
Her appointment took impact on January 1, 2024, and Ambassador Soomer, the previous secretary-general of the Affiliation of Caribbean States (ACS), at the moment serves as Chair of The UWI International Campus Council.
