    Caribbean nonprofit hosts epic artwork on Friday to help heal abuse – Caribbean Life

    Past The Name 24 7 Inc., a New York Metropolis-based nonprofit group that focuses on supporting the folks and populations of the Caribbean Diaspora, will on Friday, Sept. 12, host an progressive and culturally immersive occasion to empower members of the neighborhood by their therapeutic journey.

    Trinidadian-born founder and president Ozzie Stewart informed Caribbean Life on Tuesday, Sept. 9, that the group will host the epic occasion to assist heal abuse by artwork, movie, music, and delicacies.  

    The occasion will happen from 5:30 to eight:30 p.m. at 1 Vanderbilt Ave., twenty first ground, forty second Road, close to Grand Central, in midtown Manhattan.

    Stewart stated the gathering will characteristic creatives from the worlds of artwork, music, movie, and wellness professionals.

    She stated the artwork and works of Hollis King, Sherwin Banfield, and Alicia Aberdeen-Jones shall be on show, specializing in abuse and therapeutic.

    Stewart stated filmmakers Asha Lovelace and Elspeth Duncan will highlight the therapeutic facet. 

    She stated metal drummer and pannist Earl Brooks, Jr., and Trinidadian-born singer/songwriter, GRAMMY and Black Canadian Award-winner Anslem Douglas, will even contribute to the occasion’s theme.
