BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – The Caribbean Tradition Fund (CCF) has launched its third name for proposals, providing US$400,000 in grants to help cultural and inventive initiatives throughout the Caribbean area.
It said that people, organizations, and establishments are invited to use by June 15 this 12 months and that this third name expands eligibility to initiatives from Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Suriname.
The CCF mentioned that Haiti is being included for a second time “in recognition of the extreme challenges at the moment going through the artistic sector” there.
Based on the CCF, funding will likely be awarded underneath three themes, particularly “Artwork for Change,” the place 10 grants of US$10,000 every will likely be awarded for initiatives utilizing the humanities to drive social reflection and alter.
It said that Caribbean Collaboration may even present 10 grants of US$25,000 every for initiatives selling intra-Caribbean cooperation and creative change. The third theme is for grants for short-term artistic residencies and fellowships, that are open to establishments throughout all the Caribbean.
Ten grants of US$5,000 every will likely be awarded within the class to help short-term creative residencies inside the area.
The CCF mentioned eligible disciplines embody visible arts, performing arts, pageant arts, movie, literary arts, interdisciplinary kinds, structure, and design.
“Candidates are inspired to submit clear, possible proposals that thoughtfully join targets and budgets and to think about implementation challenges,” the CCF added.
