GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC—On Wednesday, a four-day workshop geared toward empowering Caribbean Neighborhood (CARICOM) Youth Ambassadors (CYAs) and different youth leaders to confront the worldwide problem of local weather change will get underway right here.
The Guyana-based CARICOM Secretariat stated that the “CARICOM Local weather Change and Well being Orientation and Coaching for CYAs and Youth Leaders” will carry collectively greater than 30 youth advocates and regional stakeholders.
It stated that the occasion aligns seamlessly with the Secretariat’s Local weather Change and Well being Programme (CCHP), which goals to deepen consciousness of how local weather change impacts well being and disseminate information on prevention and adaptation measures to cut back greenhouse gases.
