Three folks have been arrested in reference to the deadly taking pictures of 18-year-old Ammon Watson, who was gunned down in August 2024 in Oakland Park, the Broward Sheriff’s Workplace (BSO) introduced Friday.
The taking pictures passed off round midday on Saturday, August 24, 2024, close to the 2100 block of Northwest twenty eighth Avenue. In keeping with BSO spokesperson Miranda Grossman, deputies and Oakland Park Hearth Rescue responded to the scene and located Watson within the driveway of a house. He was pronounced useless on-site.
Watson, a father to a 6-month-old son, was reportedly approached within the driveway by a gunman who shot him earlier than fleeing on foot. Deputies initially canvassed the world and established a fringe, however no suspects have been situated on the time.
Following months of investigation, detectives recognized Ta’Narine Hamilton, 18, Khalil Elie, 22, and Morris King Jr., 19, as suspects. Hamilton was already in custody on an unrelated cost when he was linked to the case. Elie was arrested on June 16, and King was taken into custody in Dawn on July 10. He was booked into the BSO Predominant Jail.
