    Brooklyn’s Dorothy Providence breast cancer-free for 34 years – Caribbean Life

    Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn resident Dorothy Windfall thanks God for being breast cancer-free for 34 years.

    “I thank God for His grace and mercy for the place He has introduced me from and the energy He offers me to proceed doing the volunteer work at Fenimore Avenue United Methodist Church and elsewhere,” Windfall, whose late husband, Randolph Windfall, was a local of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, instructed Caribbean Life on Tuesday. 

    “I’ve been cancer-free for 34 years,” added Windfall, who was born and raised in Port Hudson, Louisiana, the eldest of 4 youngsters. “Nevertheless; for the reason that time I used to be identified to current, each three months, blood work is completed.” 

    Windfall stated, after she was identified with breast most cancers in 1989, she retired from america Postal Service in New York, the place she labored in numerous positions within the Human Assets Division.

    Windfall can also be a member of Central Brooklyn Lions Membership, Inc., the place she held many positions, together with president.

    She has three youngsters, three stepchildren, 11 grandchildren and three nice grandchildren.
