World Championships 100m hurdles silver medallist Britany Anderson made a triumphant return to the occasion, securing a powerful victory on the X Athletics Assembly in Milano, Italy on Saturday.
Mere days after marking the anniversary of her knee harm suffered in 2023, Anderson stormed to victory in 13.23 seconds. Regardless of displaying good velocity however missing rhythm, Anderson managed to carry off the problem of Elena Carraro, who completed a detailed second in 13.30 seconds. Giulia Piazzi took third place with a season’s better of 14.13 seconds.
Anderson’s win within the 100m hurdles was only the start of her success on the day. Later, she contributed to her coaching group’s dominant victory within the 4x100m relay. Alongside teammates Amy Hunt, Mabounduo Kone, and Daryll Neita, Anderson led Crew Air to victory in 43.21 seconds.
The Crew Air quartet’s efficiency was so spectacular that their profitable time was greater than 5 seconds quicker than the second-place Cus Professional Patria Milano ‘B’ workforce, who completed in 47.65 seconds. Moreover, they completed 5 seconds forward of Cus Insubria Varese Como ‘A,’ who secured third place in 48.66 seconds.
