HAMILTON, Bermuda, CMC – As of January 1, 2023, Trinidadians should now have a sound visa from Canada, the UK, or the US to enter Bermuda.
They’ve been added to the listing of “prohibited nationals” topic to entry restrictions below the Bermuda Immigration and Safety (Prohibition of Entry) (No. 2) Order 2025.
Below the laws, nationals from nations on the listing should both have journey authorisation to enter and re-enter Canada, the UK, or the US, which is legitimate 45 days from the date of supposed departure from Bermuda, or a present letter issued by the federal government testifying that their partner is a Bermudian or “belongs to Bermuda”.
The order, which displays ongoing critiques and changes of immigration coverage within the British abroad territory, took impact final Thursday. It replaces one issued in January.
The earlier order listed 109 nations. It has been decreased to 72 within the up to date order. Amongst these eliminated have been Suriname and the Dominican Republic.
The opposite Caribbean nations that stay on the listing are Dominica and Jamaica.
Whereas Cuba, Haiti, and Venezuela stay on the listing, nationals of these nations can now enter Bermuda with a typical work allow.
