The Authorities of Belize has taken a big step in the direction of enhancing girls’s financial empowerment by signing an settlement with Taiwan to fund a brand new challenge titled “Rising Financial Energy for Micro-Entrepreneurs.”
This initiative is a part of a broader bilateral cooperation settlement specializing in empowering girls in Latin America and the Caribbean within the post-COVID-19 period.
The settlement was signed by key officers together with Adele Catzim-Sanchez, CEO of the Ministry of Human Growth, Households and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs, Amalia Mai, CEO of the Ministry of International Affairs and International Commerce, and Robert Pan, Chief of the Taiwan Technical Mission.
In keeping with the press launch, the challenge “seeks to extend girls’s financial energy by constructing their capability for small enterprise growth, digital advertising and entry to capital.”
