NASSAU, Bahamas, CMC – The police on the island of Eleuthera are investigating an incident that left two crew members of a cruise line lifeless on Friday.
Preliminary experiences state that round 9.30 a.m. (native time), the captain of the Carnival-owned cruise line Holland America was alerted by way of the automated hearth alarm system to a malfunction within the ship’s engine room.
The vessel’s hearth response group was activated. On arrival on the engine room, they encountered condensation brought on by a steam leak, which was instantly rectified.
A verify was made for the crew members, however they have been discovered unresponsive with extreme burns.
The District Medical Physician examined each victims and subsequently pronounced lifeless.
The incident reportedly occurred whereas the vessel was moored at Half Moon Cay.
