Antiguan soca sensation Ricardo Drue has died.
In response to the Antigua Observer, Drue died on the Sir Lester Fowl Medical Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
He was reportedly rushed to the hospital after being discovered unresponsive in his room.
Drue, who was engaged to fellow soca artist Patrice Roberts, gained recognition for hits like “Vagabond” and “Skilled.”
In a video posted to her official Instagram web page a short time in the past, Roberts shared a loving video of herself and Drue. Roberts is seen planting a kiss on Drue’s cheek. She captioned the put up: “I’d do something to listen to your voice…get up.”
The video elicited a number of heartfelt messages of condolences from colleagues together with Destra Garcia, Nailah Blackman, Kes the Band and Jamaican artistes resembling Ding Dong, Konshens, Tifa and Stacious.
