American Airways is strengthening its footprint in Jamaica with new nonstop service from Ian Fleming Worldwide Airport in Boscobel, St Mary, and expanded flights from Kingston’s Norman Manley Worldwide Airport to Miami, starting December 18—simply in time for the winter vacationer season.
The brand new schedule will embody two each day flights to and from the Ian Fleming airport and 4 each day flights from Kingston to Miami, a key hub for the Jamaican diaspora.
“As the most important US airline in Jamaica, we’re thrilled to proceed increasing our presence with much more service to Kingston and Ocho Rios,” stated Jose A. Freig, vice chairman of Worldwide and Inflight Eating Operations, in a press release on Friday. “Now we have had important progress in our Jamaican operations for this summer season, and we stay up for much more flying within the winter, highlighting American’s virtually 50-year dedication to Jamaica’s journey business and our native companions.”
