    Alzarri Joseph handed two-match ban – Caribbean Life

    West Indies quick bowler and vice-captain Alzarri Joseph has been suspended for 2 matches following an on-field incident on the third One-Day Worldwide match towards England at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Nov. 6.
    Joseph has since apologized for his outburst, saying his ardour received the perfect of him.
    CWI Director of Cricket Miles Bascombe stated in a launch, “Alzarri’s conduct didn’t align with the core values that Cricket West Indies upholds. Such conduct can’t be missed, and we have now taken decisive motion to make sure the gravity of the state of affairs is totally acknowledged.”
    It added, “As a part of CWI’s ongoing dedication to upholding the best ranges of professionalism and integrity within the sport, the incident, which concerned conduct falling in need of CWI’s requirements of professionalism, was reviewed in session with the senior males’s teaching workers.”

    Joseph was bowling the fourth over of the match when he was visibly upset. He moved his arms round, and the commentators believed he was not happy with the sector Windies captain Shai Hope set.
