KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC–Rogea Reid, a 24-year-old deportee who fled the island whereas on bail for homicide, was arrested on the Norman Manley Worldwide Airport when he re-entered the island on Thursday.
The police report that Reid was amongst 61 deportees on a chartered flight arriving from Alexandria, Louisiana, in the US round 11:55 am (native time) on Thursday.
Upon arrival, Reid was handed over to legislation enforcement personnel for additional processing, and through this course of, he was taken into custody.
He was the one deportee to be detained.
