Twenty-six college students of Jamaican heritage attending Howard College have been awarded scholarships totalling US$107,000. Every recipient obtained US$4,000 to help with academic bills.
The annual scholarship is awarded to college students of Jamaican delivery or parentage, with a grade level common (GPA) of three.0 or increased and are enrolled full time at Howard College.
Ambassador Anderson congratulated the scholarship recipients and urged them to “pay it ahead” by contributing to JHUAN as soon as they obtain skilled success, thereby sustaining the cycle of alternative and empowerment.
