GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – The Caribbean Group (CARICOM) has paid tribute to veteran Guyanese diplomat, Ambassador Elisabeth Harper, describing her passing as a profound loss for Guyana and the broader area.
Ambassador Harper died on Saturday after a protracted sickness. She was 67. A former Director-Common of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, Harper additionally served as Guyana’s Ambassador to the Caribbean Group (CARICOM).
