MIAMI, CMC – Tropical Storm Erin, which grew to become the primary hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic season on Friday, is predicted to move close to or north of the Leeward Islands on Saturday.
The Miami-based Nationwide Hurricane Heart (NHC) in its 11:00 a.m. (native time) bulletin stated that the hurricane is about 460 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands and has most sustained winds of 75 miles per hour (mph).
A Tropical Storm Watch is in impact for Anguilla and Barbuda, St. Martin and St. Barthelemy, Saba and St. Eustatius, in addition to Sint Maarten, and people elsewhere within the northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico ought to monitor the progress of Erin.
