Barrington Lewis, former CEO of the Environmental Basis of Jamaica (EFJ), has been named chief monetary officer (CFO) of the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF), efficient August 1.

The CBF, established in 2012, serves as a regional umbrella fund supporting conservation and sustainable growth efforts throughout the Caribbean. The group makes use of a variety of economic devices to ship long-term funding and consolidate regional environmental impacts.
Lewis brings over 30 years of expertise in accounting and monetary management, having held roles as an exterior auditor, chief accountant, strategic planner, and guide. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Economics and an MSc in Accounting from the College of the West Indies. He’s additionally a Licensed Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
