    Brooklyn-based reggae artist Minna LaFortune on Tuesday dropped her newest single, “Weekend Vibes,” a fascinating fusion of Amapiano grooves and Caribbean soul.

    This observe marks a dynamic evolution in LaFortune’s musical journey, providing listeners an uplifting anthem that celebrates leisure, pleasure and the common love for weekend festivities. 

    “Weekend Vibes” seamlessly blends the rhythmic parts of Amapiano with LaFortune’s signature reggae aptitude.

    Jamaican-born LaFortune advised Caribbean Life that her inspiration for the observe stems from a need to unite various musical influences and cultures. 

    “I wished to create a track that resonates with everybody, irrespective of the place they’re from,” she mentioned. “’Weekend Vibes’ is about embracing the second, dancing freely, and discovering pleasure within the easy pleasures of life.”

    LaFortune mentioned “Weekend Vibes” can also be featured on her forthcoming album, “Dance with Me Quantity 11”, set to be launched in June.

    She mentioned the album continues her mission of making music that resonates deeply along with her viewers, mixing genres and themes to replicate her various musical influences and experiences.
