ORLANDO – Eight months in the past when Canute Neil Ellis launched his EP, Slingshot, he had excessive hopes for the six-song mission which samples a number of Jamaican gospel requirements.
Nah Miss It, the lead single from Slingshot, topped the GLN High 10 Charts for a number of weeks in March and early April. That chart is compiled by GL365 Community, a number one Caribbean-American Web radio station.
Ellis, who produced Slingshot, mentioned Nah Miss It’s success speaks volumes for the EP.

Ellis’ respect for classic gospel acts began whereas he was an audio engineer on the recording studio of Noel Willis, founding father of The Grace Thrillers, a bunch whose music was performed in dancehalls throughout the Nineteen Eighties and Nineties.
