    The West Indies misplaced their first T20 sequence towards Sri Lanka by 9 wickets within the third and closing match in Dambulla to lose the sequence 2-1.

    Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera powered their group to a historic T20I sequence win with the duo producing unbeaten half-centuries which helped their group comfortably chase the goal of 163, sealing the match in 18 overs at 166 for one.

    West Indies, selected to bat first and received off to a rocky begin when Maheesh Theekshana bowled Evin Lewis with the fourth supply for a duck.
